Beaches
Prince Edward County offers a variety of beaches ideal for family outings. At Sandbanks Provincial Park, dogs are allowed on-leash at a section of Outlet Beach and Sandbanks Beach (Richardson’s). Given the popularity of this family-friendly area, it's advisable for dogs to be socialized, easy to control, and kept on-leash. Wellington Beach also permits dogs on-leash. Another option for a sunny summer day is North Beach Provincial Park, which features a dog-friendly beach area.
